NEUROSONIC Schedules San Francisco In-Store

January 24, 2008

Vancouver, British Columbia hard rock band NEUROSONIC has scheduled an in-store appearance on Tuesday, January 29 at Rasputin's in San Francisco at 6:30 p.m.

NEUROSONIC recently posted a video blog featuring highlights from the group's 2007 tour. Watch the clip below.

The band will support PUDDLE OF MUDD on a U.S. tour beginning at the end of the month.

NEUROSONIC's video for the song "So Many People" was shot in Los Angeles in July with director Lex Halaby (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, MUDVAYNE).

NEUROSONIC was founded in Vancouver in February, 2006 by vocalist/guitarist Jason Darr, who was the former lead singer of Calgary's OUT OF YOUR MOUTH. In addition to Jason, NEUROSONIC also consists of guitarist Troy Healy, bassist Jacen Ekstrom and drummer Shane Smith. NEUROSONIC released its first album, "Drama Queen", on January 30, 2007 on the Bodog Music label, although the album was released in September 2006 in Canada.

NEUROSONIC last summer took part in the Family Values tour alongside KORN, EVANESCENCE, HELLYEAH, TRIVIUM and others.

According to the NEUROSONIC biography on Bodog Music's site, NEUROSONIC is as "driven and unapologetic as its creator (Darr)." NEUROSONIC's musical style crosses many boundaries and while it is generally classified as alternative rock, it is also classified as hard rock, also containing elements of traditional rock and pop.
